FLINT is seeking dedicated and adaptable General Forepersons local to Saskatoon, SK, who thrive in dynamic work environments and enjoy variety in their daily tasks.

If you are a seasoned mechanical professional with a Journeyperson ticket, a hands-on approach and a passion for managing teams on various projects, this role is perfect for you!

This position is based in Saskatoon, with a flexible shift schedule that adapts to meet client needs.

What would you be doing?

• Manage projects and client expectations.
• Report on employee performance, working conditions, and productivity.
• Ensure an efficient working environment with low production costs.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety regulations.
• Assign tasks to meet client standards.
• Conduct regular work inspections for quality control.
• Ability to work on tools while guiding others.

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
• Displays a safe and productive work ethic.
• Handles administrative duties, including completing required documents.
• Reads and interprets drawings.
• Minimum 7 years' experience on an industrial or construction site.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a supervisory / leadership role.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
