Adecco Engineering & Technical is actively seeking a Licensed Millwright (Industrial) to join their team in Burlington, ON.

This is a full-time position offering $43 per hour, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a company that is stable, and well established in their market.

• Pay Rate : $43 / hour + $2 overnight premium
• Location : Burlington, ON
• Shift : Afternoon and overnight shifts available
• Afternoons - Monday to Friday - 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm
• Overnight - Sunday to Thursday - 11 : 00pm to 7 : 00am

Responsibilities :

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment in the plant.
• Proficiently repair and troubleshoot conveyors, industrial equipment, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, power tools, fans, blowers, hydraulic systems, packaging equipment, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform TIG welding as required.
• Install new equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively, maintaining full knowledge of their use.
• Adhere to GMP rules and GMP for Maintenance rules.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve production goals.
• Maintain accurate records using computerized maintenance programs.
• Able to work under special conditions such as extreme heat or cold, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Requirements :

• Valid 433A or 426A Millwright License.
• Proficiency in TIG welding.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform repairs effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
