The Assistant Program Administrator position is well suited to an individual who enjoys working with people, providing exceptional customer service, and performing administrative processes.

The ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with colleagues, use computers with ease and learn new software / programs will be key to success in this role.

Previous experience working in an office setting and customer service will be invaluable.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for administrative duties related to the support services required in administering the SCSA’s major programs (COR, SECOR, NCSO, and NHSA), and safety-related professional customer service to the membership and other identified customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and professional customer service.
  • Administer the SCSA programs including registration, certification, maintenance, and participation of companies / individuals in the program.
  • Data entry and filing system maintenance.
  • Assist with coordinating the audit schedule, processing of audits, tracking and compiling program data.
  • Provide backup reception support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

You will have Knowledge in the following areas :

  • Customer Service
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Video conferencing software)
  • Clerical Processing
  • Program management and administration, and knowledge of SCSA Programs would be a bonus.

You will bring the following Skills :

  • Effective customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work independently, within a team environment.

Required Education / Certifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate related to office administration or program management.
  • Three years of experience related to administration / program administration and customer service.
  • A suitable combination of education, training and, experience will be considered.

Working Conditions

Sedentary office work, performance of repetitive motions and use of general office equipment.

Friday worked : 7 : 45a.m. to 4 : 15p.m., off every other Friday
