Job Title : Automotive Technician

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate at peak performance.

Location Merritt, BC (Great small-town country living to raise a family only a 40 minute drive to Kamloops and an hour to Kelowna.

Relocation loan or signing bonus for local candidates.)

Shift Timings- 8 : 30am 4 : 30pm

We offer :

12 month guaranteed hours with flat rate bonus.

8 hour shifts end at 4 : 30pm

Vehicle Inspection and Diagnostics :

Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose issues.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately.

Repairs and Maintenance :

Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.

Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.

Customer Interaction :

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns and explain repair options.

Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timeframes.

Technical Knowledge :

Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in automotive repair.

Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.

Experience / Qualifications :

Requirements :

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician.

Licensed GM Red Seal Tech with own mechanic tools.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Proficient use of diagnostic tools and equipment.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
