We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Pointe-Claire, Montreal QC H9R3E2.

A lovely family near Pointe-Claire is seeking an occasional babysitter for their social and interactive 1 year old to start as soon as possible.

Backup care is needed intermittently, 1-3 times per month, on any weekday or weekend between 8am-8pm, for 6-8 hours at a time.

The child is easy going and enjoys playing outside. Mom will be in and out of the home at times helping as needed. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family's requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position.

The family can oftentimes provide up to a 2 week notice prior to when backup care is needed; however, there may be occasions when backup care is needed for the following day.

A great candidate will be interactive, positive, and reliable.

• Start date : ASAP
• Length of Position : November 2024, possibility to extend
• Compensation : $28 CAD per hour

Schedule : Intermittent care - No Guaranteed hours

Family needs 6-8 hours of backup care between the hours of 8am-8pm

Responsibilities

• Diaper changing
• Engaging with the child; outside play, stroller walks, etc.
• Preparing meals / snacks for child

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
• UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew
• Authorized to work in Canada
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English
• Smoking is not permitted on premises

Compensation

This position pays $28 per hour, and the family is looking for occasional backup care.
