A leading financial service is looking to onboard Bilingual Administrative Assistant on contract basis for 12 months working on-site in Toronto location.
Your new role
- Responsible for managing iing and outgoing mail, email, and fax
- Administrative duties including scanning, filing, and storage
- Enter, review, and verify data from paper or electronic forms into a standard database
- Answer iing phone calls to assist and direct claimants and representatives in a professional and empathetic manner
- Assist with coordination and logistics of meetings, travel, and expense tracking
- Contacting class members to obtain required information, documentation, or confirmations when
necessary
Preparing notifications to claimants pertaining to claim status, review decisions, and instructions Supporting claimants in a professional manner when they require assistance on topics including claim form access, assessment questions, and accessing mental health and cultural resources
What you need to succeed
- 1+ year of experience in administrative or clerical support.
- Bilingualism (English / French), the ability to speak an Indigenous language (i.e., Cree languages, Inuktitut, Ojibway etc.) considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to use photocopiers, scanners, and printers
- Experience using a VOIP / Internet phone service is desirable
