ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Foremost has an immediate opening for a full- time Burn Table / Sawyer located at our facility in Calgary, Alberta for the day shift / afternoon shift.

This position will be responsible for processing of raw material to work order specifications using various machines.

Accountabilities :

Works with direction to drawings, sketches, layout boards, etc. and / or verbal instructions and performs cutting functions in accordance with established practices and procedures

Required to operate saws and / or cutting tables and basic shop equipment, power tools and hand tools

Responsible for housekeeping and proper storage and handling of materials, equipment and supplies in their department

Performs other tasks related to his / her classification.

Qualifications :

Ability to input templates into CNC machine or Pronest software

Computer, Windows and Excel knowledge

Overhead crane and forklift training preferred

Can discern different types of materials and cut according to requirements

Team player who takes pride in their work

Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a diverse, fast-pace environment

Safety Training an asset but will train as required
