A well-established data cabling company is looking to hire one Senior Structured Cabling Technician / Installer with knowledge / experience installing, terminating and testing all types of category cabling.

Fiber experience is an asset. This is NOT IT working on a computer job. This is pulling cable and terminating.

Other responsibilities could include :

• Ability to read and understand customer provided drawings along with daily completion of field service reports
• Using diagnostic tools and test equipment
• Follow scope of work as per directed
• Ability to find solutions to the client’s requests
• Familiarity with safety procedures as well as when working aloft or in confined spaces.
• Understand and follow a BOM
• Terminate, assemble and install various connectors and patch panels
• Be able to determine between quoted work, extra work and change orders

Compensation package includes :

Use of Company Vehicle if approved by Manager - after BC Driver's Abstract approved

Competitive wage (wage offer will reflect experience and assets)

Evening premium if working 8pm-5am which is $5 extra per hour

Bonuses given based on projects and responsibilities
