Our Customer is looking to Hire for their explosive growth in their Direct to Consumer Channel. They are investing in training new hires to be licensed professionals, able to sell Insurance Products to their Customers.

This role is a professional licensed to sell personal insurance directly to consumers nationally and to service all their insurance related needs.

The hours of operation for the Direct Channel Department are Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 9 : 00 p.m. and Saturday from 8 : 00 a.

m. to 5 : 00 p.m. You will be required to work five 7.5 hour shifts per week / 37.5 hours per week within these hours of operation, and will rotate through these hours.

Our Customer has adopted a hybrid return-to-office model. This role will require you to work in the Markham office location 2 - 3 days per week, with the remainder of the time at home office.

Responsibilities :

• Understanding customer insurance needs and providing insurance solutions
• Quote and Sell Insurance Home and Auto policies
• Assist new customers with their Home and Auto insurance needs
• Service existing customers by updating their policies no meet their changing needs and provide new products as required
• Drive strong customer retention by providing a world class customer experience
• Underwrite new business, policy endorsements and renewals by obtaining all necessary information from the customer relevant to pricing and risk analysis
• Stay up to date on underwriting and regulatory guidelines

Requirements :

• College Diploma or University Degree
• Sales and customer service experience is ideal
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer focused and ability to match products to customers needs
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize work
• Strong computer skills with ability to learn new software applications
