Waste Connections of Canada is looking for a DZ Side Load Truck Driver to join the Kitchener Team, and who shares our number one core value - Safety.

Side Load & Roll off experience is preferred

Location : 139 Ardelt Ave Kitchener, ON

Pay rate per hour : $29.09 (Monday to Thursday while on side load) $29.88 (Friday while on roll off)

Main Duties :

• Ensure safe operation of a standard transmission truck, while driving, loading, and unloading
• Drive to customer location for pickup, and position truck safely to ensure a safe lift
• Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service
• Dump contents at designated recycling facility, transfer station or landfill
• Pre / Post-trip inspection
• Use of truck electronics to log calls, hours etc.

Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
• Side Load & roll off experience preferred
• DZ license
• Excellent spatial skills to position vehicles and bins effectively and drive accident free
• Good knowledge of the Tri-Cities and surround areas (Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, Stratford, Guelph)
• Physically able to climb in and out of truck, roll recycling containers (150lbs on wheels) and to clean out truck after dumping contents
