Resource Profile

The client is looking for highly experienced Environment Specialist with a strong background in integration in support of this project.

Resource Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of artifacts from other streams and appropriate escalations in time
• Responsible for WMQ clustering and multi-instance message broker
• Ensure quality oversight for technical architecture and implementation of middleware, integration system design, production implementation of multi-instance message flows
• Responsible for oversight and design of secured HA IIB framework
• Responsible to Guidewire team city environment build and deployments
• Provide QA / Testing teams with support on problem determination and resolution of integration issues
• Ability to be a technical interface between engineering and QA / Testing teams to provide innovative and efficient approach to integrations between environmental components
• Provide reports, minutes and presentation materials related to integrations
• Documentation of all integration aspects
• Follow industry trends and software developments to assist in creating a roadmap for the Enterprise Integration group
• Ensure Service Level Agreements are met for applications supported
• Work on change man. deployments and maintenance activities
• Provide solutions to business and technical issues and ensuring that design specifications and development schedules are met.
• Provide solution recommendations that have potential business / process automation impact and organization / financial impact.
• Interact with the business, vendors and ITC technical teams by :
• Gather technical requirements for integrating with the vendor products;
• Attend requirements and solution design reviews;
• Coordinate system installations and software testing;
• Integrate system solutions to handle confidential data / information and transfers between client and external service providers

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Tech Stack of IBM ESB (WMB & IIB), IBM MQ, Java and SQL
• Should be able to make the LLD and HLD based on Functional and Non-Functional requirements
• Proficient in Integration Architecture - Application development and design
• High skill with on-premise and cloud Integration platforms
• Proficiency in web services - SOAP , REST, XML technologies
• Knowledge in Core Java and Log4J libraries
• Experience in Database modeling & design and experience in MS SQL and Stored Procedures
• Good understanding and knowledge on GIT and Bitbucket, Build and Deployment tools
• Basic knowledge of UNIX operating system and networking
• Analytical Skills to investigate and resolve integration and environment issues
• Experience in direct customer and stakeholder engagement are highly desired
• Knowledge of WSIB ESB / MQ integrations with legacy components
• College or University degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Enterprise systems and application delivery 6-7 years
• IBM Certified Solution Provider in WebSphere MQ
• TOGAF Certification (Will be an asset)
• Business Process Analysis (Will be an asset)
• Proficient in MS Office suite with priority on Excel (Advanced Excel will be a definite asset)
• Formal certifications in J2EE / JavaEE or .NET as well as IBM MQ / MFT would be an asset
• Guidewire Team City would be an asset.

Experience with all or some of the follow

• Enterprise Accounts and Claims software such as Guidewire
• Proven experience with enterprise messaging such as IBM MQ / ESB
• Experience working with Java Virtual Machine platform, application delivery or administration
• Working knowledge of service management and productivity tools such as Service Now, Jira, Confluence (Will be an asset)
• Hands-on experience of GitHub, BitBucket and other CD / CI tools

Skillset

• Lead, hands on experience with IBM MQ / ESB 4-5 Years
• MQ / ESB Setup. Troubleshooting & Maintenance 7-10 Years
• Management or oversight of delivery of complex systems and enterprise applications 4-5 Years
• Strong Documentation Skills including MS Excel, Visio, MS Project 4-6 Years
• Working knowledge of Java virtual machine platform 2-3 Years
• Working knowledge of enterprise application monitoring 2-3 years
• Experience in engagement with multi-level stakeholders and cross departmental consensus building 3-4 years
• Experience with Guidewire cloud / Team City an asset
