SUMMARY

Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation of environmental / sustainability programs, supporting data collection, monitoring and validation of applicable environmental performance data, and supporting key engagement activities.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Collection, Monitoring, and Validation

• Lead the management of data collection, monitoring, and validation of applicable environmental performance data from key suppliers to support client corporate reporting requirements.
• Support the development of MSA deliverables and reports.
• Execute simple analysis and provide recommendations on reporting.

Communication / Training

• Support development of environmental / sustainability engagement activities including green’ events and the expansion of client green teams’.
• Support development of environmental compliance and sustainability training.
• Program Development Support
• Support development and implementation of client sustainability initiatives / objectives and assist on strategic vision.
• Support development of the BGIS Annual Environmental Plan.
• Support development of materials for the client's operational governance.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Completion of post-secondary training in related areas. (Less than 2 years of experience in reports and performance indicators)
• Advanced skills in MS Excel. Strong MS Word skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong administrative skills including documentation standards and project management.
• Strong time management skills.

Licenses and / or Professional Accreditation

Environmental Professional (EP) or Environnemental Professional in Training (EPt) is an asset
