JOB SUMMARY

The Field Service Supervisor will be the first point of contact for our external and internal customers regarding general inquiries, maintenance and service of onsite fuel tanks and fuel systems.

The primary function of the role is the day-to-day supervision or our field service techs responding to calls across western Canada.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain a safe working environment by aligning with corporate safety rules and regulations and ensuring a culture of safety.
  • Supervise and coordinate all field service technicians and field activities.
  • Track and enter service technician workorders and material usage.
  • Assist in planning and deploying new tank / fueling systems.
  • Purchase parts and materials; issue PO’s and process transfer as needed.
  • Assist with Trouble shooting fuel operating systems and configuration.
  • Control and maintain records regarding regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee billing to customers for service technician time (when required)
  • Assist in on call duties for FMS / service department.
  • Management monthly costing for field maintenance and FMS related costs.
  • Develop, change, implement operational processes as required.
  • Be proactive in problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adapt to change and improvise while working in a high pressure and fast paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience supervising field service technicians.
  • 2 or more years of customer service experience
  • Experience in fuel distribution is an asset.
  • Efficiently handling multiple, simultaneous, and detailed tasks is necessary.
  • Be highly organized and able to work with a variety of departments.

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Technical Certification is an asset.

This job position is in office with very limited travel to the field
