Typical Scope :

The Finance Consultant will play a crucial role in assessing and improving our financial processes, providing strategic advice, and supporting the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.

Core Responsibilities :

• Oversee and refine the company’s FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to ensure accurate and timely financial insights
• Assess current financial processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide financial analysis and due diligence support for potential M&A activities, including valuation, risk assessment, and integration planning
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP or IFRS, providing clear insights to stakeholders
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities, providing financial modelling and ROI analysis to support decision-making

Key Qualifications :

• Proficiency in Excel, including intermediate knowledge of formulas and pivot tables
• 7+ years of finance experience
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• CPA designation is required
• Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
