Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in this Flux Core welder role :

Flux Core welding

Fitting fabrication structural steel

welding HEAVY STRUCTURAL STEEL

working with heavy gauge metals, up to two inches in thickness

working with machine shop equipment : torches, cutters, grinders, saws, hand tools

Qualifications

2+ years Flux Core welding experience

flux (FCAW) CWB tickets preferred (all positions ideal)

If tickets are expired, assistance to obtain these will be provided

looking for someone with HEAVY STRUCTURAL STEEL welding experience

construction industry welding experience preferred

familiar with heavy gauge metals, up to two inches in thickness

experience with other machine shop equipment : torches, cutters, grinders, saws, hand tools

able to use measuring tapes, and measuring tools

80% of the job will be welding, 20% assembly, fabrication, cutting, grinding, etc

ability to lift up to 50 lbs
