Food Servers required for Seniors' Living Facility.

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker, with a strong customer service skills to work in the position of Food Services.

The ideal candidate should be a team-oriented person who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude.

About the position :

• This is Temporary Part-Time position to cover a maternity leave.
• The position offers an average of 15 hours per week over a 6-week cycle, but more shifts may be offered based on availability.
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts to cover in this position are : 7am to 12pm, 10 : 30am to 6 : 30pm, 12pm to 8pm, and / or 3pm to 8pm.
• The tentative end date for this position will be March 1, 2026

Our Food Service staff are responsible for the following :

• Preparing the dining room for meal service and setting tables
• Assisting cooks with kitchen duties and food preparation
• Serving meals
• Cleaning duties, including cleaning the dining room after each meal
• Washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
• Stocking kitchenettes
• Assisting residents with medications
• Other duties as required.

Requirements :

• Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
• A flexible, willing, and positive attitude

Food Safe Certification, First Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset.
