Job Title : Forklift Operator

Location : 16 Rue Richelieu, Lacolle, QC, J0J 1J0. (French Is must for This) & 35 Rue St. Jean Baptiste Ouest, Rigaud, QC, J0P 1P0.

Expected hours : 40 per week

Job Summary :

This role involves operating a forklift for 60% of the time and performing general warehouse duties for the remaining 40%.

The Forklift Operator will assist in assembling orders, managing inventory, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate a forklift to assist in filling and emptying containers.
• Assemble, pack, and repack orders as required.
• Coordinate with other departments, including sales, logistics, and accounting.
• Keep accurate track of inventory levels.
• Perform moderate lifting as needed (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with general labor tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Valid Forklift License and WHMIS Training.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Previous experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Experience in packaging and repackaging.
• Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
• Strong command of both spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with aluminum sheet, plate, and extrusion products is an asset.
