JobSummary :

Asa Carpenter an ideal candidate will have refined knowledge andexperience within the construction industry. Clear and effectivecommunication will be demonstrated in this role with good timemanagement and an advanced understanding of the trade.

KeyResponsibilities

• Provideproper training on the safe use of hand tools and powerequipment.
• Assistother trades onsite asneeded.
• Readand interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determinespecifications and calculaterequirements.
• Preparelayouts in conformance to building codes using measuringtools.
• Measurecut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substituteslightweight steel and othermaterials.
• Buildfoundations install floor beams lay subflooring and erect walls androofsystems.
• Maintainrepair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills mineshospitals industrial plants and otherestablishments.

Requirements

• Minimum3 years of experience as a Formwork Carpenter inconstruction.
• Abilityto meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periodsof time lifting heavy loads of up to90lbs).
• Redseal isdesirable.
• Strongcustomer service and frontfacingskills.
• Knowledgein all aspects of framworkCarpentry.
• Agood gut for heights managing a crew and working on busy highpressure jobsites.
• Aptitudeinmath.
• MUSThave experience working with highrise construction and Peri SelfDriving Hydraulics Systems Core & TypicalCore
