What we’ll love about you :

Diploma or Post-Secondary Degree in Occupational Health and Safety

Working toward CRSP, CSO, or NCSO certification is preferred

3 years of progressive HSE experience in a manufacturing / construction environment

Understanding of applicable OH&S, environmental legislation and HSE processes

Basic comprehension of Return-to-Work programs and WSIB case management

Exceptional time management skills

Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Attentive to details with the ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

What you’ll work on :

As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a fundamental role in the successful implementation and monitoring of Steelcon’s HSE policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives in our shops and in the field.

Your role will encompass a broad range of activities from ensuring HSE compliance throughout the organization to the coordination and facilitation of training sessions.
