Health Screener (Temporary) - Gemstone Care Centre

Pro Vita is looking for strong casual Health Screener with a passion for the elderly to join our team at a Long Term Care Facility in Kamloops !

Shifts : Tuesday - Saturday, 9am-5pm

Mandatory Qualifications :

• Completion of Grade 12, and one (1) year's related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Holds and Maintains Valid WHMIS Certificate.
• A negative TB test or chest x-ray within the last six months or ability to pass TB clearance documents.
• Successfully clears and maintains, as required by company and facility, an appropriate background / criminal record check in accordance with licensing regulations;

Re-submits such as required or every five years.

Provide signed annual mandatory declaration of criminal records.

Favored Qualifications :

• Building Service Worker Certificate or related work experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
