Job Description :

Our client is seeking a skilled HeavyMachinery Rigger to join their team. As a rigger youwill be responsible for the safe and efficient handling moving andsecuring of heavy loads using specialized rigging equipment.

Thisincludes working with cranes hoists winch systems chain blocksforklifts machinery skates and toe jacks to move heavy machineryand materials in various environments.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Safely rig lift move and position heavy loads usingcranes hoists and other mechanical equipment
• Operate machinery such as forklifts winch systems chainblocks toe jacks and machinery skates to transport equipment andmaterials
• Inspect rigging equipment before useto ensure safe operation
• Calculate loadweights angles and positioning to ensure the safe and efficientmovement of loads
• Work closely with craneoperators and other team members to coordinate liftingoperations
• Secure loads properly and safely toprevent damage to the equipment property or personnel
• Follow safety guidelines procedures and protocols duringall rigging activities
• Troubleshoot andresolve issues that arise during lifting operations
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure asmooth and safe operation

Requirements :

• Proven experience in heavy machinery riggingand handling equipment such as cranes forklifts andhoists
• Knowledge of rigging techniques andsafety regulations
• Ability to calculate loadweights and capacities
• Strong understanding ofmechanical and loadshifting principles
• Forklift operator certification (Nice tohave)
• ASP constructioncard (Nice to have)
• Valid Class 1 3 or 5 drivers license (Niceto have)
• Must be able to speak French or English

Salary : $22.00 to $26.00 perhour depending on experience.
