POSITION SUMMARY
The In-Plant Safety Specialist position is responsible for compliance with PSSI’s safety procedures in the plant. This position must know, understand, and be able to communicate PSSI’s safety policies and practices to team members, and train and re-train team members on proper safety practices.
Due to the nature of this work, you must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / JOB DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation :
Maintain regular communication with Safety and Technical Services team.
Make sure all investigations are followed up with and an action plan is implemented successfully.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE )

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in safety related field or equivalent job experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position works in wet, hot, and / or cold environments. Shift may vary depending on location.
