• The instructor aide will be required to assist student in the classroom and throughout the building.
• Take direction from accessibility services and program instructors to identify and address the student’s learning needs.
• Utilize appropriate learning resources.
• Attend training sessions and progress meeting as required.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1. Grade 12 or equivalent.

2. Relevant experience in the field of study.

3. Ability to work with individuals with special learning needs.

4. Effective communication skills.

5. Effective interpersonal skills.

6. Excellent organizational skills.

7. Demonstrates valuing diversity.

8. Ability to work as a team member and foster teamwork.

9. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and / or the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
