Typical Scope :

The Interim Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will be responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support the company’s strategic goals.

This role requires a deep understanding of financial metrics, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior management.

Core Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast business performance, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow projections
• Prepare and review the annual budget and periodic forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for adjustments
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including new product launches, market expansion, and capital investments
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to senior management and stakeholders
• Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights, track KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve business performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and sales, to gather information and ensure alignment of financial data with business objectives

Key Qualifications :

• Proficiency in Excel, including intermediate knowledge of formulas and pivot tables
• 5-7 years of financial planning and analysis experience
• Technologically savvy with advanced financial modelling experience
• CPA designation is required
• Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
