Job Description

Hain-Celestial Canada, a division of the US-based Hain Celestial Group, is a leading organic and natural products company with operations in North America, Europe and India.

We provide consumers with superior food and personal care products for a healthier way of life. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of LINE PORTER.

The primary purpose of this position is to work product through the production process.

Responsibilities :

• Loading and unloading of hoppers.
• Verify correct components are being loaded into the hoppers.
• Ensure steady consistent flow of components to the lines in order to minimize downtime.
• Palletize finished goods using correct configuration provided by Q.C. department.
• Shrink wrap skids and remove to the holding area.
• Ensure correct inventory ticket is attached to the pallet.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Production Supervisor or Lead Hand
• All employees are responsible for quality and safety
• All employees are responsible to any quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

Qualifications

Competencies :

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain a fast pace with time limits
• Able to move and lift 5 lbs. to 35 lbs.

Education and / or Experience :

High School Diploma or equivalent
