YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Reporting to the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for the optimization of the maintenance performance of our hoisting plants, compressors and stationary assets, using best practice maintenance planning and scheduling techniques and the SAP and JD Edwards maintenance management system.
You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Manage CMMS (SAP) database;
- Develop standard PM templates for jobs that are repetitive where they need only one time planning;
- Establish bills of materials (BOMS) and task lists in SAP;
- Establish scheduled maintenance programs and PM’s in accordance with (IAW) OEM requirements;
- Establish preventative maintenance conditions monitoring programs and associated PM’s to improve plant and equipment availability;
- Continually review maintenance intervals to maximize plant and asset availability and determine areas of fixed and mobile plant improvement;
- Generate reports, graphs and statistical data on plant and equipment as required;
- Report on data collected from condition monitoring program to relevant stakeholders (Maintenance General Supervisor, Maintenance and Reliability superintendents);
- Predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling;
- Oversee cataloguing of site based maintenance of equipment information and repair files;
- Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research;
- Scheduling of EM tests and annual NDT’s;
- Perform work order repairs and adjustments;
- Coordinate 3rd party statutory testing and inspections of hoisting plant and equipment in accordance with statutory requirements;
- Prepare budget costs as required for scheduled maintenance activities;
- Report to Stationary General Supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent on maintenance KPIs on a daily and weekly basis;
- Produce monthly reports on maintenance KPIs, costs, spares availability, looming issues for Stationary General Supervisor, Planning General Supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent;
- Produce 12 month rolling shutdowns plan on a monthly basis.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Trade Qualified Millwright or Electrical / Instrumentation;
- MMC Certificate or higher in Maintenance Planning (PEMAC);
- Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining hoisting plants;
- Minimum 3 years CMMS experience essential (preferably SAP, JD Edwards)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
- Honest and confidential;
- Pro-active, self-starter capable of working in a small team of professionals;
- Knowledge and understanding of OH&S Act and Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
