The position of Market Manager has fullP&L responsibility for the respective operation, while alsooverseeing the development, implementation, and execution ofstrategic / tactical objectives in support of company initiatives.

With responsibility for Multiple Locations, the successfulcandidate will provide support, leadership, team building,supervision, training, and development of employees to consistentlyachieve superior performance.

The successfulcandidate must demonstrate the leadership, competencies, skills,and knowledge to drive employee excellence and financialperformance measurably and consistently, and ultimately become asuccession candidate for senior positions throughout ourcompany.

Responsibilities :

• Maintains consistent presence throughout thesegment, while partnering with Segment Team leaders using decisionprocess to develop and implement business strategies to improvebusiness.
• Responsible for annual achievementof financial performance, while delivering flawless customerservice
• Develops top talent for theorganization while demonstrating remote leadership competency tomotivate and engage employees
• Providestraining and development of employees, removes, and replaces underperformers.
• Responsibility &accountability for developing strong relationship with keycustomers in each market.
• Works closely withWarehouse Director to establish best practices and consistency inall warehouse & delivery operations, keeping continuousimprovement top of mind
• Working closely withthe Division Safety Manager, creates a Safety "First" culture thatis Compliant, Legal and Ethical

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,Accounting / Finance, or related background required, MBA anasset
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years demonstratedexperience in Operations required
• Specificknowledge of the supply and distribution industryrequired
• Must have demonstrated success withproblem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic andfunctional level
• Ability to work with a widedegree of creativity and latitude
• Mustdemonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts,practices, and procedures
• Strong customer andemployee orientation
• Excellent interpersonaland communication skills to include presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Must have a strong commitment to companyvalues
• Frequent and sporadic multi-nighttravel is required
• Relocation / Transfer to thehiring branch may be required
