Responsibilities :

• Worksafely and effectively adhering to all applicable FederalProvincial Unionized local company and facility health and safetyfire environmental quality and generalordinances / policies.
• Support company objectivesby enhancing facility safety product quality and manufacturingproductivity while reducing costs.
• Identify andcommunicate opportunities to improve the operation and maintenanceof equipment and productionsystems.
• Troubleshoot production and qualityissues in collaboration with operatingpersonnel.
• Perform predictive and preventativemaintenance troubleshoot and repair plant equipment in a timelymanner.
• Complete all required documentationincluding work orders parts signouts requisitions and qualitysignoff sheets.
• Take ownership of repairsensuring jobs are completed within timedemands.
• Perform welding and machining tasks asneeded.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic andhydraulic systems.
• Ensure compliance with GoodManufacturing Practices.
• Respond to work ordersand service calls promptly to minimizedowntime.
• Log parts out of inventory and recordas necessary.
• Adhere to internal qualitycontrol standards.
• Report any unsafe conditionsor dangerous behavior to the appropriatemanager.
• Participate in requiredtraining.
• Coordinate preventive and demandmaintenance and discretionary work assignments with the supervisoras requested.
• Operate hoisting and liftingdevices such as cranes jacks and tractors to position machinery andparts during installation setup andrepair.
• Inspect and examine machinery andequipment to detect and investigate irregularities andmalfunctions.
• Assemble machinery and equipmentprior to installation using hand and power tools and weldingequipment.
• Perform other tasks and duties asassigned to ensure the continued success of thecompany.

Qualifications

RequiredExperience Education andSkills :

• ValidIndustrial Millwright Certificate 433A
• 35 yearsof previous millwright experience
• Competency inwelding minor fabricating and rigging
• Goodworking knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics includingtroubleshooting
• Experience operating allgeneralpurpose machine shop equipment
• Abilityto work as a team member with minimalsupervision
• Strong mechanicalaptitude
• Good verbal and written communicationskills
