Contract : Parttime 1216 hours per week

Your role in themission :

Type One Energy arelooking for anOffice Coordinator to be responsible for overseeingdaily office operations providing administrative support to staffand ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.

This rolerequires excellent organizational skills attention to detail andthe ability to handle multiple taskssimultaneously.

  • Receivescreen and direct all phone calls coming to the Vancouver corporatephone number.
  • Greet visitors and ensureregistration in the visitor log issue visitor identification badgeswhen appropriate and notify staff of thevisitorsarrival.
  • Collect sort and distribute incomingmail / packages and deliver officesupplies.
  • Maintain safe clean and free ofclutter work spaces.
  • Prepare and keep updatedthe Building Management contact info and description ofactions.
  • Update weekly newsletter fordistribution on Friday to Vancouver officeemployees
  • Schedule and coordinatemeetings / special events as requested.
  • Managethe seating chart and assign spaces according to guidance printname tags for cubicles.
  • Ensure office isstocked with office supplies and other required items to maintainthe office operations. Maintain inventory of Office supply room andkitchen area in order to provide uninterrupted supply of goods andlimit the number of orders.
  • Coordinate with theexternal IT vendor and assist staff with requests for ITassistance.
  • Assist with Safety Procedures incompliance with corporate policy.
  • Assist withFire Drills scheduled by the building management; manage a group ofvolunteers for organized evaluation of employees from thebuilding.
  • Communicate notices and announcementsfrom the building management company
  • Assist HRwith the coordination and facilitation of new hire orientationsessions.
  • Assist with the preparation ofwelcome kits and other onboardingmaterials.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure newhires have necessary equipment andaccess.
  • Assist with the integration of newhires into the companyculture.

Whatyoull need :

Bachelors degree inhuman resources business administration or related field.

Previous experience in a business administration role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Abilityto handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problemsolvingskills.
