Title - Outdoor Parts Sales Rep. (Light duty truck parts)

Location - Mississauga, ON

Compensation - $70k - $80 / annually (Based on exp.)

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct truck parts sales through face-to-face interactions with both potential & existing customers in a B2B environment.
  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects & customers, conduct outbound calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
  • Ensure collection of payments from customers through constant touch base and liaise with account receivables team for regular follow-up.
  • Build & maintain relationships with new & existing customers, maintain record of all potential sales leads & customer accounts.
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand customer specific needs.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities, provide timely market intel feedback to management.
  • Work closely with warehouse & procurement team on new product / part demand & price position in market.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand.

Requirements :

  • An undergraduate degree in sales & marketing, or business administration, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Extensive truck parts industry-related sales (3+ years) or management experience is strongly preferred (e.g., Truck parts, tires, lube, fuel, batteries, etc.)
  • Experience calling on transportation customers with heavy-duty tractor truck fleets or other vocational truck fleets.
  • Self-sufficient with Microsoft Office tools, and experience using CRM software. Experience with AS400 would be an added asset, (but not mandatory).
  • Bilingual (English & French) would be a valuable (but not essential) asset.
  • Valid G-License for travel and day to day commute.
  • Strong business development and sales skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively market and communicate product features and benefits
  • Experience in inside sales or telemarketing is a plus
