We are currently seeking a Product Finisher #1 Rod Straightening to join our Boart Longyear team in Mississauga, Ontario.

Minimum Qualifications

College Diploma or equivalent

2+ years of related experience.

Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs.

Basic computer and math skills required.

Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.

Experience working in a unionized environment.

Candidates must be able to adapt to 8,10, or 12 hour shifts.

Candidates must also be able to adapt to a 24 / 7 shift.

Responsibilities

Evaluate products and identify deformities.

Move deformed products to a hydraulic straightening press.

Operation of overhead crane for products over 50 lbs.

Manual material handling for products under 50 lbs.

Using hydraulic press, resolve product deformities.

This position requires ongoing physical demands including lifting, bending, walking, and standing.
