Requirements As a Rapid Response Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various sites across the Greater Victoria Area .

You must be able to adapt to different environments and provide top-notch security services quickly. A valid BC Security Workers License and the ability to respond to shifts within a short notice period are essential.

This is a part-time / on-call position.

Wage : $21.00 / hr + $5.00 / hr premium for shifts picked up within 12 hours of start time and a 10 Shift Completion Bonus per quarter (10 shifts $200)

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide rapid response to last-minute shift openings across various locations in Victoria
• Conduct foot patrols and maintain a strong security presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
• Write clear and concise reports on daily activities and irregularities
• Provide excellent in-person customer service
• Work independently or as part of a team

Requirements :

• Must currently live in the Greater Victoria Area
• Valid BC Security Workers License, Basic Security License (BST) required
• Valid Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 Certificate
• AST (Advanced Security Training) License is an asset
• Conflict Resolution, NVCI.
• Proficient in English (verbal & written), experience with MS Office Suite
• Ability to conduct foot patrols and stand for long periods
• Previous customer service experience, report writing, teamwork, and independent work
• Flexible, including afternoons, weekends, and some overnights
• Having a vehicle is recommended for travel between sites
