Duties :
- Recruit research participants.
- Conduct high -level and complex academic research and literature searches.
- Collect and manage research data, conduct advanced analysis of research results and document findings.
- Interpret research findings and perform editorial tasks.
- Present project status and findings to stakeholders.
- Organize and host seminars, focus groups, community meetings, special events, and other forms of public engagement.
- Support funding procurement and staffing supervision.
- Identify and assist in securing funding opportunities; prepare and submit documentation required by funding agencies.
Qualifications / Experience :
The ideal candidate will :
- have a Master’s Degree in a related field, or be enrolled in a Masters Degree.
- have completed research methodology courses at a graduate level.
- have extensive research skills and sound judgment; working in community-based research is an asset.
- have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively; strong written communication skills are especially important.
- possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated.
- have the ability to work independently and with others effectively.
- have experience with project management and supervising staff.
- have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity.
