About

We currently have

opportunity for a Shipper / Receiver at our Oakville, ON location.

Responsibilities :

Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rules

Participate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times :

Always using the required personal protective equipment

Ensuring that authorized work is completed safely

Utilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazards

Participating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives

Reporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries / illnesses as per company procedure

Perform loading and off-loading functions of trailers and / or warehouse transfers

Ensure loading of quality finished product with no visible non-conformities for all customers and / or transfer orders

Responsible for accurate inventory and reporting all discrepancies

Communicate any deviations of the loading / unloading schedule to the Operations Supervisor or Logistics Coordinator

Perform all aspects of computerized bills of lading

Perform physical counts of inventory as directed

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Grade twelve or equivalent

Valid forklift and high reach licence or willing to obtain

Ability to use radio frequency scanner

Minimum of 3 years previous experience

Must be willing to work overtime
