Role :

Snow Removal Operator

Responsibility :

• Perform snow removal duties with focus on quality and timely execution.
• Operate trucks and loaders with mounted snow plows or pushers in safe and productive

manner.

Excellent recordkeeping of work completed, equipment inspections, service logs and weather

reporting.

Result :

Clients receive high level of contract fulfilment, at minimal liability risk to company.

Detail Overview of Responsibilities :

• Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events
• Prepare and show up for shifts free from the influence of any drugs, alcohol, or medicines

that have an effect on safe and productive equipment operation

• Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on all vehicles and equipment
• Clear snow from customer sites from designated areas (marked on site maps)
• Pile snow in designated and approved locations only
• Operate vehicles and snow plow equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner

following all recommended operating procedures

Control ice accumulations at jobsites with the safe and responsible use of de-icing agents

• Hand-shovel or hand-treat site areas as required (walkways, doorways, fire equipment, etc.)
• Be available for communication at all times during a shift and before / after shifts
• Accurately document site service records for each and every site including times, services

performed, weather conditions etc.

• Submit paperwork and documentation promptly at the end of each shift
• Document and report any obstacles at site(s)
• Perform basic maintenance and small repairs on vehicles and equipment as required
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner

Must have previous experience with snow plow operations
