Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of financial results and budget objectives.
• Oversee inventory control, expense and profits within established timelines and provide periodic inventory counts.
• Ensure standards of department presentation and operations are met, rotation, ordering, pricing accuracy, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Act as a liaison and public relations representative within the community.
• Resolve issues as they arise including customer complaints and supply shortages.
• Participate in customer appreciation events and customer contact programs.
• Provide leadership in areas of employee relations, hiring, training, development, discipline, and recognition.
• Conduct regular performance management activities.
• Assist in identifying unhealthy / unsafe situations and ensure corrective action is taken.
• Follow procedures for accident and fire prevention, WHMIS, NSC and other safety procedures.

Qualifications :

• Post-Secondary Education in a relevant field is considered an asset.
• 2+ years of previous Store leadership experience.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills; with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
